Leather workers Pony

When I finished making my last project a Bench seat for the Garden a Mate Who does Leather work suggested I make a leather Workers pony.I had never heard of such a thing apparently it is for clamping the leather while it is stitched.I looked on Utube for inspiration and this is my version .The leather is clamped between the jaws apparently.
Quite a nice little project made from beutiful Ash.
