Mel

Today my student Mel is recovering from a Stroke but fortunately the only effects he is suffering from is some memory loss and a slight speech problem.
luckily none of this effects his ability to do Woodturning and we had a very enjoyable day.
Mel took to turning surprisingly well and turned a very respectable Sycamore Bowl.
Well done Mel I look forward to seeing you again soon.

  1. Hello George,
Thank you for making Mel’s woodworking day so inspiring. He came home so full of what he had experienced he couldn’t stop talking about all he has learnt. The bowl he has brought home is stunning and is already in pride of place!
We hope to pop in and see you at Easter when we are down your way in our motorhome.
Kind regards to you and your wife.

    1. Hi George, Mel has decided that when we come down at Easter we are going to bring our diaries so that he can book another session on with you as he had so much fun and learnt so much about the grain of the wood and finishing. You are a brilliant tutor and was so patient with him he felt so at ease with you. Thank you everso.

  3. Hi George, Mel has decided that at Easter when we come down we will bring our diaries and arrange for another session with you. He hasn’t stopped talking about it and often picks up his bowl so he can remember all your instructions in regards to the grain of the wood. He was worried he wouldn’t be able to ‘take it all in’ but you made it so easy for him. A brilliant teacher :) Once again thank you everso. Caryn
