A pleasant days Teaching

I really could have done without Teaching today as I have just had two weeks open studio's and I am absolutely drained
The day was made easy by the good company of Mike and Richard.
Mike has been turning for a while and needed to polish up his tooling.
Richard has not done any turning but has a natural ability and should take it further.
We had a great day lots of fun and both turned very high quality Beech Bowls.

  1. What can one say? A first class day's instruction removing countless wrinkles in my admittedly pathetic bowl turning technique. George's expertise and robust sense of humour made for a thoroughly productive and enjoyable day. You can always measure the quality of this kind of experience by whether ones first impulse on arriving home is to go straight to the workshop or tackle a rather fine sirloin steak. I'm afraid to admit the steak won but only under the extreme duress applied by my better half. Thank you George, I will be back- you have been warned!
