Teaching today

My Students today were Nigel and Brenda a lovely couple from Coventry.
Today was a present for Brenda from Nigel although he could not remember which it was either Christmas or birthday.
We had a very nice day they were very easy company and quick learners.
They turned two lovely Sycamore Bowls Nigel's was plain wood with a concave rim and Brenda's was coloured with Acrylic paint.
Very well done both of you.

My Student today was Jamie

My Student today was Jamie who was here as a Christmas present from his Wife Nicola .
Jamie has fancied having a go at woodturning for some time and has considered it for a hobby.
I think he should take it up as he took to it like a duck to water.
Jamie was great company and made my day easy.

Danny was treated to days Woodturning Tuition by his Partner Hannah
Danny is a carpenter by trade so turning came quite naturaly to him.
We had a very good day and Danny went away with a very nice Bowl turned from Apple wood.
Danny also bought a nice second hand Lathe that I bought from one of our Club members recently who was upgrading.I am sure he will have hours of pleasure with it
