Birthday treat for Ian

My Student today was Ian who was here as a Birthday present from his Son and Daughters.
Good company and easy to teach that is my kind of Student.
We had a great day and Ian turned a very nice Beech Bowl.

    I would like to thank George (Sir ) for a wonderful day , I really enjoyed making my bowl that now sits in pride of place on our dining table.
    George is a patient, informative and very safety conscientious tutor with more than a sense of fun thrown in for good measure.
    I would happily recommend George to anyone thinking of giving wood turning a go .
    Thanks also to Susan , George's wife who kept us supplied with coffee and biscuits and provided a light lunch.
