Courses and tuition 2014
George runs courses from his well equipped workshop in Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset.
Each course is specific to the students needs, enabling each to obtain the required skills to take away and progress within the craft of woodturning.
Courses while being tailored keep emphasis on the correct use of tools and techniques with this remaining the core foundation of the day.
Whether you are starting out on your first step in woodturning or would like to delve into hollow forms, turning from green wood through to the finished item, or learn texturing, embellishment by adding colour to your work each course can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
Courses for one two or four students arranged on request.
Refreshments, lunch, turning smock, safety equipment and all materials are included for use during the course.
Courses for four students will be run by George Foweraker and Mark Sanger

Finishing, texturing and coloring days

Following on from our popular Finishing ,texturing and coloring courses of previous years Mark Raby and myself will be doing a one day course on Wednesday the 9th April 2014
Most of you will know Mark or will have seen one of his Demo's.
As you will know Mark used to demonstrate coloring and finishing for Chestnut products but now works freelance.
In my opinion Mark Raby is probably the the most knowledgeable person in the country on finishing and coloring techniques.
Because Mark is now freelance he is able to demonstrate and sell any products on the market.
The course will introduce turners to the many possibilities that Texturing ,finishing and coloring has to offer.
The cost is £50  00 per day and the numbers will be limited.
Local accommodation can be arranged at a reasonable price.
There are two places left on this course but I do not expect them to be about for long .
