Apples and pears

On Tuesday night my Brother Chris Link here did a Demonstration in our local woodturning club Link here He stayed over night and yesterday morning we had a few hours and made some Apples and Pears.

The last one I made was Red and it was suggested that green would be worth a try so this is it.

This Bowl is 13" x 2" textured ,scorched and coloured with spirit stain.

This Oak Bowl is 13" x 2" Scorched and finished with Satin Lacquer

Another Scorched Oak Bowl

This Oak bowl is 13" x  2" finished with Chestnut lacquer
This Bowl took me less than an hour to complete

This Bowl is turned from Oak scorched and finished with satin lacquer approx. 13" x 2"

Spalted Beech Bowl

This Bowl is 16" x 3" finished with Chestnut hard wax oil.
This bowl is part payment to a local farmer that I bought a load of Spalted Beech from.
