Steve and Jill.

Today Steve and Jill were with me to do a days introduction to woodturning.Jill bought a days turning as a Christmas present for Steve then decided to come with him and join him on the course.
As you can see from the pics it was a good day and they both made very nice Beech bowls approx 11" x 3".
Steve is a retired Jumbo jet pilot and Jill is a retired Maths Teacher.
I would respectfully point out they both retired early.
They were a lovely couple and we had a very enjoyable day.

Toby's Birthday present

Today's student Toby was here for a days woodturning tuition as a Birthday present from his sister Karen.
As luck should have it his mother has her Birthday today and this lovely Beech bowl will be her Birthday present.
Don't worry Mum I wont let on how old you are but we know it is Toby's 40Th.
We had a very enjoyable day and Toby has made his mind up he is going to buy a lathe and equipment so I am sure we will be seeing more of him in the future.
